Jakob Bjerre provides advice in the area of dispute resolution and in particular in relation to environmental law and public law. Jakob has extensive experience in procedural rules and the conduct of legal proceedings before the district courts, the high courts as well as the Supreme Court in addition to the industrial bodies; the Danish Labour Court and the industrial arbitration tribunals. Jakob’s strong negotiating skills have made him a much sought-after advocate and he has multiple cases of general public importance behind him.
In 2010 and from 2015-2016, Jakob was appointed acting judge in both the High Court of Eastern Denmark and the High Court of Western Denmark. Since then, he has applied his considerable knowledge of civil litigation as external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, where he teaches civil litigation law. Jakob is also a regular lecturer in the Danish Bar and Law Society’s training program for junior lawyers.
